Le Fantôme Des Rocheuses - An adventure supported by Therm-IC
Julien Donzé's (Le Grand JD) latest documentary follows wildlife photographer and Therm-ic athlete Neil Villard, on his quest to photograph the endangered puma.
This out of the ordinary and demanding adventure took place in the Rookies, where the Puma's presence feels more like a ghost rather than an animal. Through an ethical approach to wildlife photography, Neil's goal is to shine light on this endangered specie and to raise awareness for its preservation.
The ethical approach of wildlife photography is based on a few pillars :
- patience
- observation
- respect
- no staging or intervention on the specie's environnement
Therm-ic : the key partner of this expedition
Given the extreme conditions faced by Neil and Julien in this adventure, they were equipped with various Therm-ic products, among which heated socks, heated gloves, as well as isolating Therm-ic Pro gloves.
Our teams were also invited to the premiere of the movie, that took place on February 24 in Geneva.
The documentary is now availaible on YouTube
This movie is a concrete exemple of Therm-ic's mission, as well as the trust placed in us by the athletes and adventurers that we proudly work with.
