40 sedentary individuals, 18 months of training, a 100 km ultra-trail: Official partners of the 0 to 100 Project
How would the body, mind, and spirit react if, in 18 months, one went from a sedentary lifestyle to running an Ultra-Trail? This is the question offered by exercise physiology professor Guillaume Millet, coordinator and scientific lead of the 0 to 100 Project.
A total of 20 women and 20 men, all leading a sedentary and inactive lifestyle, will receive medical and scientific monitoring as well as progressive athletic coaching to achieve the ultimate goal: completing the CCC® 2027, one of the iconic races of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, covering 100 km with 6,000 m of positive elevation gain.
This ambitious scientific project aims to analyze the impact of structured training on the health of initially sedentary individuals.
As experts in comfort, performance, and foot care, Sidas is partnering with the project to provide the best possible support to participants throughout their progression.
During intensive training weekends, our teams will be on-site to offer dedicated moments for exchange and expertise, as well as insole molding carried out by our podiatrist. In addition, the participants will also be given a "kit" with all the products they might need during their training.
This project is more than a study on human endurance, it’s a story of transformation, resilience, and pushing the limits of what’s possible.
