PODIATECH Symposium in Paris / RACING 92 partnership / IBHGC – ENSAM
Optimizing footwear for Rugby and Football
As part of the partnership between PODIATECH and Racing 92 (French national rugby team), we organized a symposium on optimizing footwear in rugby and soccer (stud shoes) on Monday June 5 in at the Paris La Défense Arena (a famous Parisian stadium), with 3 speakers and a mediator:
- Pr. Philippe Rouch researcher at the Institut de Biomécanique Humaine Georges Charpak - Arts et Métiers Sciences et Technologies
- Dr. Sylvain Blanchard Racing 92 Medical & Scientific Director
- Mr Jean-Philippe Viseu podiatrist Racing 92 Rugby Team - MSc Psychology, Motor Control and Sports Performance, Faculté des Sciences du Sport de l'Université Paris-Saclay.
- Ms Karine Langlois, Director of the EFOM IFMK.
120 podiatrists were invited by their salespeople to the "Paris la Défense Arena" to attend the symposium, a very rewarding afternoon for our customers which ended with a presentation of the Intelimat on Premium Station Podiatech by the SIDAS R&D department.
Participating in R&D projects and promoting podiatry, particularly in top-level sport, has always been essential for PODIATECH. Past and present collaborations with INSEP, the universities of Reims and Chambéry, the GIGN (elite intervention group) Olympique Lyonnais and the French national team of soccer in 98 with Jean-Marcel Ferret, NHL teams in the US and the ASTANA cycling team in 2023 are just a few examples...
