Dream Again - avec Mathis Decroux et Adriana Brownlee

Back in 2023, Mathis Decroux followed Adriana Brownlee to Pakistan, the slopes of Gasherbrum I and II, her 11th and 12th peaks over 8,000 meters. This documentary, created with the support of Therm-ic, retraces these extreme ascents while painting a portrait of an athlete as determined as she is inspiring.

This journey brought her incredible encounters, intense emotions, and painful moments. But It also opened her eyes to the 8000-meter industry. After years of dreaming and climbing ten legendary peaks, she came to a powerful realization: the race for performance was not the dream she had as an eight-year-old.

As moving as it is awe-inspiring, the film tells the story of a little girl’s dream come true, and of a woman seeking to return to the essence of her childhood practice, and to dream again.

Today, Adriana is the youngest woman to have summited the world’s second-highest peak, K2, on July 28, 2022, and the youngest woman to have climbed all fourteen 8000-meter peaks, on October 9, 2024.

Pourquoi tu vas là-haut ? - avec Nathanael Sapey-triomphe

In a society obsessed with “always more”, Pourquoi tu vas là-haut (What brings you up there) questions our paradoxes.

Through Nathanaël Sapey-Triomphe's intimate journey, the film explores his relentless pursuit during a Himalayan high altitude paragliding and mountaineering expedition with his climbing partners Michel Cervellin and Chhiring Sherpa.

With few words, it offers no clear answers. Only an invitation to find your own.
