The Foundation raises funds at its first-ever charity auction
On Thursday, June 4, the Sidas World Foundation brought together its partners for an auction held in Lyon. In total, more than 50 people attended the event, enabling us to raise over 9 000€.
The evening began with an introduction by Neil Villard
Wildlife photographer and T athlete, X is an adventurer with a deep passion for the natural world.
To open the evening, he shared his personal journey, the values that guide his work, and the legacy he hopes to leave for his children.
He also presented images from his latest project, Le Fantôme des Rocheuses, in which he set out to track the cougar across North America, as well as Une ombre en lumière, a project dedicated to the Eurasian lynx of the Jura Mountains.
A successful auction
The evening continued with the charity auction, featuring 12 exclusive lots.
The items included two photographs by Neil, a paragliding flight, a signed Manchester City jersey, mountain experiences, collectible sports equipment, and many other unique offerings.
Thanks to the generosity of the bidders and donors, a total of more than 9 000€ was raised.
